Today, we're going to take a look at the K-Source Custom Electric Passenger-Side Extendable Towing Mirror. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1999-2000 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks with the non-heated power mirror. On a custom fit part, I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. This is an extendable towing mirror that will replace the factory side-view mirror on your vehicle. Using this mirror, there's no need to use any of those towing snap-on or strap-on towing mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off. This mirror here has a telescoping function, makes it very easy to see around the side of your trailer so that you can safely change lanes, pass, and park.

Basically, all you have to do is just pull the mirror, just like that, away from your vehicle. It extends your line of sight by about 3-1/2 inches. Then when you're done towing, all you have to do is push it all the way back into place when you're not towing. The main mirror itself right here, it does have the power adjustment. The spotter mirror, which is the small mirror here on the bottom, does adjust manually so you just use your hand to adjust that. The nice feature with the spotter mirror is it helps reduces any blind spots.

This mirror does have a hinge design, which allows you to fold this mirror up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tight spaces. This is made with a durable plastic housing with a nice, textured black finish. As I mentioned, this custom design provides a nice, perfect, secure fit for your vehicle. If you notice, it has the simple no-drill installation. Basically, it has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror.

They do even include a new foam gasket when you install it. You'll notice the plug here uses the factory connection for your electric function on the mirror. This part is for the passenger side mirror only. I do want to give you some measurements on this. We're going to measure the dual mirror face, the width and the height of it. The width is going to be right at 7-1/2 inches.

The height, we are going to include this spotter mirror, so from the very bottom to the very top is right at 11 inches tall. The retracted length, right now it's in the retracted position, fully pushed in. From here to here's going to be 18 inches. Again, if we pull it out for the towing position, the extended length from here to here will be 21-1/2 inches. One last note on this, I do want to mention that you cannot upgrade to a power mirror if your factory mirror is not already equipped with that function.
